where is this valve and or sensor? rotor wont engage properly-if we ever do get it goin we never shut it off-seems to be a sensor problem or something-the things we have done are turn the combine off and on,unplug sensors around angle gearbox going to rotor,flick switch on before monitor lights up,sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt--nothing consistent so we're never quite sure-dealer hasn't been of much help--thks ray

to find the valve follow the hydraulic lines that come out of the rotor gearbox drive clutch assembly .This assembly is off the pto and has the drive shaft to the rotor gearbox bolted to its yoke.One line is to your rtf clutch the other is for the etr clutch.This is a tricky problem one thing i would check or do is screw out both your rotor speed sensor and also the rotor motor speed sensor and clean any metal fragments that may have built up on them.It gets more complicated if this is not it.The most likely cause is you are not getting the minimum 7.8 volts out of your ccm to the rotor motor speed sensor.This usually caused by voltage drop from the pin out off the computer through the four connectors before it gets to the speed sensor.What is the code??? does it mention rotor latched??

does the chopper separator clutch engage, check the pin connector on selinoid at rotor drive where it plugs into valve selinoid, my chopper clutch was giving code and trouble engaging was bad pins at selinoid on harness,

was finally able to get tech out--with his troubleshooting chart we were able to find a broken wire between the connector under tank and the rtf valve solenoid--made it easier when the rotor would not engage at all-- it had been sporadic most of the fall-when we got it going we never shut it off and it would run all day--so we spliced in a wire and life is good
