Cant get our 2011 485 versatile to run the fans fast enough on our seed hawk 800 tank. It has dual fans but cant even get one to go over 4500. Anyone have a idea what to check

Check your flow control valves on the tractor (if it has them) if they are wide open try a different remote.

Are you testing in the yard empty or are you actually running product thru your meters? If you are not running product thru your meter it will not increase until it senses a load.

If you have standard hydraulic levers and your flow control is wide open you will have to make adjustments on the actual control block located behind the cab between the rear axles. You may want to contact your dealer to do this.

Had the versatile tech out and it is all up to spec. Can get 36gpm at each remote
He thinks restriction in cart and drill. Got a 400k pile crap sitting in field that person cant use

Normmm the fan has the highest load on it when it is empty or no product in the air stream. It will be intersting what type of RPM you will get out of it when the product is in the air stream. Do you have a dual fan and is each fan driven by a different remote? If so do you see any differences in speed between the two fans? Do you know what pressure the tractor is putting out at 36gpm - could it be that you have flow but not enough pressure? If this unit is used could the hydraulic motor on the fans be shot?

Like they asked above, have you actually tried it in a field? Our dual fan air seeder runs in the 3600-4200 rpm range but once meters start turning they are running 4700-5000

yup tried in field getting 4500 max fan speed. They even hooked a 550 steiger on it with same result. Something not right.
