Help with Alarm on 1480

I bought a 1480 last week. I am the 3rd owner. It has a red light directly behind the feeder house switch on the console. It is located were the reverser button is on the newer machines. When I put the feeder house in gear it waits 5 seconds and it lights up and the audible alarm goes off. There is nothing in the owners manual that pertains to this light. The feeder house continues to run. I thought it might be the automatic feeder house cutoff but I can not figure anything out from the manual.
Has anyone heard of this before? Does any other machines have this light on them? Thanks.
