I've almost gone blind searching for information on converting my 2001 R62 over to HID lights. The best information I've found for a Gleaner is a conversion posted by OldRed on NAT, but he changed the entire light set on his R62. Do I have to change the entire light housing, or is there a kit where the bulbs will fit in my existing housings and if so, how do you select which bulb that will fit? A post on this forum for an R55 conversion used a DDM tuning kit with a 35 watt - 4500K bulb, but doesn't state what style or number of bulb, not that it would fit my 2 series anyway. Any help appreciated.
P.S. My dealer only wants $1400 to change my machine to HID lights, and that is just the parts for me to install!
