What would it be like to buy an old TBT air cart, seem to not be worth more than scrap, I would look for like a 2400 concord cart, would not take muck to make it plenty strong, I would say the hubs are heavy enough but I would install duals or bigger tires to accommodate the weight

Hope this helps

Gleaner final drives are pretty cheap at wreckers, and are amongst the strongest out there for their time period. They might even let you cut off the end of the axles too so you have the mounting plate. That would easily get you to 30,000 lbs, and still have a common 10 bolt pattern for big singles or duals.

Yes a narrow tank would be nice for visibility and was also thinking of a old airseeder cart. I will be cruising through machinery lots to see what they have buried in the back.

I always thought Gleaner axle and final drives would be a good starting point for a project like this - the complete axle is bolted into place. Or even a later MF that is using the S41 or S42 final drives.

Been meaning to post pictures of my TBT liquid cart. Just waiting to wash it up to get them. Should be this week sometime, as I don't think we have reseed anymore.

Not as large as you are wanting Snipe, but thought I would share. Did this cart about 15+ years ago with originally 914 axles and 18.4 tires. When we added "Alpine" tank about 10 years ago, changed to 1482 axles and 28L-26 tires. Yellow tank is 1250 imperial and white is 400.
Ounce you have axles and tires, decide on tank and build cart. Finish with a good high build (thick) epoxy paint -doesn't shine but lasts!!
