Has anyone tried one of these Hopper Dropper units?

Full-Bin Super Sensor

They look very simple to use and are fairly cheap at $229.
Are these the most cost effective units for eliminating gran spills or have you used a different option with success?

hopper dropper works good in everything except canary seed(maybe flax to?) don't bother with the full bin went thru three of them(moisture in sensor, poor electric contacts in sensor).Buy the never spill spout, way better.

canary flows like water, it will actually flow around the outside of the hooper dropper and up the hopper and over the side.
