Really enjoy this forum and all the different topics and knowledge being shared by producers from all over. So I was wondering what each of us deal with farming where we live. Biggest single field? Longest single pass before turning around? Average rainfall and temp.? East Central Kansas= Biggest field= 205 acres, avg. 50 acres, longest row= half mile, Average rainfall= 36 inches, Average yields= 50 bushel wheat, 30 bushel soybeans, 125 bushel corn. The very few years we can get our rain at the right time we can raise bumper crops but most of the time it's too wet in the Spring, too hot in the Summer and harvest can get very muddy. Just curious.
