Shane - those look like Britten milo guards. http://www.shieldag.com/pdf_files/crop_savers.pdf I've got the ABM's that look like the ones on the top right in the following picture. http://www.beavervalleysupply.com/sectiond/abmflex.htm The prices new (6/13/08) are listed for the ABM's, as well. Have only used mine twice in the last 8 years, as I have some 5' crop lifters that I use for downed crop, but the milo guards will not work with them. My guess is they're worth whatever somebody will give you for 'em.

O, heck yea! Appreciate the help, I looked all over Google for them. These plastics ones won't work well in dryland maize I hear. It will just knock it over. Thanks again for the help.

They are basically used to help direct the heads into the knives/header. Also help keep heads from falling out after they've been cut.

I use steel ones shane. They work really well, pricey though. $3500 australian for 40 ft. I got no idea what you pay over there for your style though...

Dang, that's pretty high. But for some reason I think the poly ones might be higher. I'm not sure. The word poly just seems to make it sound more expensive. Maybe I could sell these for around $1500

I have a 30 foot set exactly like the ones pictured. I'm thinking they were around $1,000 new but that was in 02 or 03. We use them for catching the heads that fall out after they have been cut. They sure won't work in down milo at all. Just pushes up piles.
