In the blue book it says 10 gal tips, can a guy get away with using 4?

I was thinking ofgoing with 6gal but everyone says use 10 or risk crop injury.

I use to cut water rates on all crops and was having weed problems since have gone back to 10gal on peas and canola. Been using Viper for a few years and been spraying 10gal.

I used 7.5 gal last year just to get an even 160 acres per fill, it worked out well so I'l repeat this year.

We have used 4 gal for 3 years now with no issues. Remember coverage is more important than water volume. Bump up your pressure (60lbs) and dont spray in a wind and you will do a better job. Get them sprayed before six nodes is also important.

kk thanks, just trying 100 acres so don't want to buy a new set of tips that's only going to be used once.
