Have a Mr heater brand diesel heater and would like to be able to add a extension so i can direct the flow of heat to a specific area like the Frost Fire Brand heater types(indirect Burner). The heat coming out of a direct burner is extremely hot at the tip and would melt anything but metal. Anyone come with a good idea to do this.

I bought some 8" flexible aluminum ducting for that exact purpose. Not sure if it will handle the heat for very long though. It is cheap though so I figure I would try it. Thankfully it has been warm enough that I haven't needed to try it. If it burns out too quickly I will try to mount a foot or two of galvanized heater duct and then the flexible aluminum.

I cut the bottom out of an old 5 gallon Pail. Allows me to direct heat down or up. Helps a lot.

No safe way to use longer heat ducts. Output heat is much hotter than the frost fighter heaters.
