Just curious if any one is getting dry enough to work ,the neighbours are spreading chemical and having plenty of grief .Each spreader truck was stuck 3 times yesterday ,They are not 4wd . Where I saw one working this morning it didn't look like a drill could work well in that field for a while.

After today's 100 kph winds in Southern Alberta, I imagine things will be drying pretty fast around here. We're not quite dry enough but in a few days we'll be putting in peas. A couple of intended wheat fields are still sopping, especially where we had to pump off the water. Will be some time for them yet.

I am a long ways from you guys in east central Mn few miles from the wi. border.

we are very dry for this time of year. there is a good chance for the first time in my life we will have april planted corn, and early may soybeans. soil has been in shape that I could have put small grains in at the first of april. we might beat the corn belt when they are normally 3 weeks ahead of us.

we are high variable soil. in 1 mile it goes from one extreme to the next and back again. I could have been working on april 1st. but 1 mile north of me them guys would be stuck in muck.

We are excessively dry here for this time of year. A few guys are planting but most are waiting for soil temps to come up. I guess some guys take it to heart when they read the seed corn bag and it says "store in a cool dry place." Tile lines are juust a trickle and pasture south of me 5-6 miles have the creeks dried up already. Great weather for calving, but I have to admit, little nervous of this weather pattern we seem to be stuck in.

Too wet here in MI. Was drying up nicely by last week, thinking about oats and alfalfa and such. One night of rain though reminded us of the HUGE moisture reserve mother nature put down all last fall....we're a ways away again.

Wheat dropped about 25 cents just this morning based on general rain in the usa. Did you get some of that?

Yeah maybe a half to 3/4 of an inch. Don't think it was the drought buster like reported. Buried trees a couple weeks ago, hole had no water in it, 15-20 feet deep.
