Don't mean to hyjack this thread but is anyone familiar with Lima Grain wheat, I think that's the right brand I'm hearing about being years ahead of everything else. I plant alot of Barlow, tried some Saben this year but it didn't stand well and protein was low on it. Had some Prosper last year, produced my best stand didn't seem to run as good as it looked but I missed the Persaro app on it so hard to give it fair judgment
My criteria is "good" for fusarium, lodging and sprouting. That leaves Cardale, SY433, and 859. I want the option to retain seed so that eleiminates 859. So will be getting some Cardale. Would like to hear more about SY433.
