I have a IH 1486 and I noticed the AC compressor has a little film around the clutch. I wanted to check the oil level in the compressor crank case, so I started to unscrew the bolt plug on the side, but when I did, pressure started to come out, so I tightened it back up. This is were you check the oil in the york style air compressors right?? Thanks.

That's right, but it can't be done when the system is full of refrigerant.
