Was wanting to hear other people's experiences? This the second year in a row the flea beetles have used prosper as a salad dressing on my canola. We never had this issue with helix extra and the new expensive lubiderm works very well also.

Used Helix last year and oversprayed for beetles.

Used Prosper this year and oversprayed for beetles.

Did a strip with Lumiderm and no beetles in that field...maybe it works???

Both years Syngenta/Bayer covered cost of Matador/Decis but if I use Lumiderm I will be footing the bill for that.;)

Doesn't it just depend on how many flea beetles there are? They have to chew/bite the canola plant to ingest the chemical that will kill them. If there are enough flea beetles, there won't be much plant left if they all take a bite.:p

I heard there is Lumiderm resistant beetles in eastern MB.

Also saw a picture today of Helix/Lumiderm and it was quite a contrast and the problem was cutworms.

Still can't see anything different between my Prosper/Lumiderm trial.

I have also had Helix and Helix Extra side-by-side a few times and flea-beetles could care less between the two.
