I know for a fact altendorf filed for chapter 7 bankruptcy. It's printed in the news paper. Did they officially go out of business? I know they had a class action lawsuit against them from former employees, did that contribute? Their website is no longer up. If so that takes a lot of combines out of the run this year. May be some open acres.

I ran with them as far back as 2002 and about a year ago received a letter from ND Labor Lawyers to state I was part of the lawsuit against them and this was the 1st I heard of ANYTHING!!!!!!!

I was happy enough work wise the time I was there as they treated my wife and I good.;)

Would say the lawsuit would be part of it but they did seem to run on a "shoestring" for a considerable number of years.

There will be BIG acres available about the wheat belt now if you are aware of their yearly stops!!!!!

Can they now start up under a diff company LTD/INC name like they could in UK??!!!!

I was told something about some help went after her, guess she is trying bankruptcy for protection and planning on largely downsizing, she ain't young anymore and could retire anytime
Jan came over to visit with us and other N.Irish Altendorf Harvesting drivers here in Northern Ireland around 2004/05,
I told her she should be thinking about retiring way back then!!!!!!!

That is funny there. I bet you a bunch of her foreman who couldn't make it on their own and sold out to her and then were hired back to manage for her think they are going to get combines and get rich.

So they went broke themselves, then their boss went broke and now they are going to try to go broke on their own again! lol
