I just upgraded from 6-row cornhead to 8-row cornhead and my clean grain slip clutch goes off if I drive very fast. Book says to use hi-speed clean grain elevator settings in high yielding corn.

Do I need to switch this back on beans?
Or can I just leave it in high?

I'm considering changing the speed on our 2188 to fast because last year we had corn going down into the fan. I thought I'd try it this year and see what happend.

Have ran ours in high for four years. Beans, corn and wheat. No problems.

See my 2377 post above. Changing to high speed didn't help much of any for my problem. I always thought a 77 or 88 machine would have more capacity. I think the problem will go away when we get corn down to 17 instead of 19 or 20 like now.
