Hello 8850jd
Weather after Oct. 1 here can be a real crap shoot. Have had 1' of snow on that day, more then once in years past, with winter setting in. With this year's late seeding:mad:, poor growing & even later harvest:mad:, as long as it goes through the combine, it's go time!!! If I waited for dry, I'd still be working on my barley. I started at > 18% & the last 775 bushels came off dry.:) Good thing because I ran out of bins with fans!!! I started on flax yesterday at 13%.

Been running for a few weeks now, beans out and hard at corn. Some of the corn is down to 16.5% already, other stuff still at 23%. Figured it would still be a lot wetter though. Usualy starts raining more here after the 15th of October.

I have grown beans since 79, twice I have dried them, no big deal turn your heat way down they dry easy. Give er **** its go time ! In 91 we had a blizzard on holloween . I'm done with beans, poor yields, driest corn I have is 24% 49 test wt. Starting tomorrow. The old timers used to say you never have 2 bad years in a row, they were wrong............
