They are using the Fendt transmission, but supposedly those are failing @5-6K hrs in JCB?!are they not using the fendt cvt transmission in them now? those are bullet proof lots of fendts with 10,000-15,000 hrs in Europe without a transmission problem
Not in the 7000 series they not. It's a 24 speed powershift I believe. They are using the Fendt transmission, but supposedly those are failing @5-6K hrs in JCB?!
Found one 2009 with 6ooohrs and the owner says he put the new transmission in it......Not in the 7000 series they not. It's a 24 speed powershift I believe.

That's right, p-tronic is what they call it.All the literature I've seen on them it should be the p tronic semi powershift. Never been interested in 1 so not looked much but I suppose it could be a fendt transmission but I'd suggest it would be very rare.
Richard.
Thanks Mark. I did realize that 7000 series has ben produced only for a few years and is discontinued.im a big jcb guy and my advice is run a mile from the 7000 model go with 8000 models here bomb proof and it is correct it isn't the fendt trans in them until I believe 2012 when it was match up to the sisu motor
the 8250s are a great machine hard to beat if that stepping up in price range find a 3220 there a gd fastrac also
