Is it really that big of a deal to combine wheat with a spiketooth??? I KNOW spiketooth is "for" beans, but we ran a 40EB in oats for years with no problem. Did a good job of separation, nice and clean, and we baled the straw. I suppose there are things beyond comparison, but if you're not that big of an operation, keep it simple. My thought on head size is 13ft. You could increase you're groundspeed enough to keep in busy in light crop, and have flexibility in heavy crop with still decent ground speed. Thing is, 4420's are light in the rear, and if you want to bale, probably no chopper for weight...
