Hello my name is Garrett and I am a farmer in Nebraska. I just bought a 4850 2wd. It only came with 2 rear tires and they are 20.8-42. I farm 30 inch rows and would like 18.4-42 and duals. I would like to know if they are the same height as the 20.8's? what kind of price they would run for rim and all? and where I could find some used ones Farley cheap? All suggestions are welcome and would be much appreciated.

the 20.8 will be taller.

that tractor would love some 18.4-46's but then you are looking at rims as well.

I have 18.4-42 on my 4640 with about a ton of weight in the rear end and its a good match.

Are the 18.4-46's the same height as the 20.8-42's

Stay with the 20.8s.. Not going to hurt just make sure they are spaced right, unless u plan on cultivating, don't waste ur time

I spose your right. even if I do cultivate with them the cultivator will wipe corn out before the tire touches. still need to find a matching pair for it though. Wondering if anybody knows what a pair of 20.8-42's with rims would cost?
