seems like the JD 615p pickup header is far superior to the case 3016 pickup in canola. would the JD adapt onto the Case ?

Depends on the how well you want it to work. If you got it hung on there and the drive shaft connected you could just hook the hydraulics up as if it was a Macdon pw7. Imagine you could get the hydraulic quick coupler kit from lankota. You would have to run manual speed and hight that's all. They are really good headers. If all you are using It for is canola raise the auger up a couple of inches.

thankyou scott and travis. could be more problem than its worth. now looking at a countrywide pickup, wagga wagga ,Australia and it looks ideal. all 4 rollers are driven with a 28" table auger, ideal for canola. cheers kit.

Go Knuckey or simular. A full width belt means no more seed dropping between belts and ground to a paste and building up on rollers. No more problems with centre belt slipping due to roller flex. Has a big table auger too.
