We are noticing that as our 635 header comes out of draws or over terraces if a sensor hits the ground the whole header will get to bouncing, as many as 8 to 10 times before it settles back down, has anyone else experienced this?

Yes had exactly that on a 9670 and it was as farmerjones suggested the potentiometer. It wasn't loose though it was just faulty. If I remember rightly there is another one the same on the header somewhere (maybe on the concave??) that we swapped over to determine if that was the problem.
