Running a 2000 6750 chopping hay, it shut down completely unexpected. I found the A/C blower fan fuse partially melted replaced it and it fired back up! Why is this connected to ignition? Chopped a few more loads died again this time fuse was ok. Restarted it again ran fine the rest of the day. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

could be a bad pin in one of the connecters. had a 6850 that would run all day hit a bump a certain way an shut off. then could run the rest of the day never shut off or shut off every few bumps.dealer came out couldn't find it. shade tree mechanic buddy found a bad pin in a connector under the cab. sometimes it would loose connection. Good Luck

Check wire that feeds power to the key switch, and the plug by the main cutterhead clutch where it goes throught the frame for a bad pin. My 6850 has had both problems.

Also check the connector beneath the instructor seat which goes to blower compartment. This corrodes very often causing troubles like this. Unplug it and look inside. Condensed water from airco causes this...
