On a 7720 I will be flushing the a/c system, replacing the expansion valve and dryer, and installing a reman compressor from the John Deere dealer. The instructions for the SE501457 compressor state that the unit has been filled with 10 oz. of PAG oil. What is the PAG oil capacity and R134a freon capacity as stated in the JD Technical Manual for a JD 7720? Thanks for your help!

This sounds complicated and expensive.
I had the compressor go on my 8820, I called the dealer where the reman was 5 days away and over $500. I found an a/c shop in town that built me a compressor, came out to the farm to vacuum out and recharged the system for $650.
This doesn't answer your question at all and maybe you know what you're doing, but I don't and I found an easier and cheaper option. Might be worth looking around a bit.

If your using jd reman it has the correct charge of oil in it.

The rule of thumb is 2oz per component +or - 1 oz. 10 is basically perfect.

I'm not around tech manual to get freon spec.

If its the old A6 style compressor specs call for 4 Lbs 134A.
