I've been looking at 930F headers as I'm going to have a quarter of soybeans to harvest this fall. The older ones seem to have long metal snouts and the newer ones have long poly snouts. Then i found online a header where a guy had built short dividers for a header. I attached a picture of the header. Will short dividers like that work ok? The long ones just look like they would be kinda awkward but maybe they are needed?

Short dividers is all we run. I would get one with a full fingered auger too.
Short dividers are all I've used, the big snouts are collecting dust.

If you can spring it, an air system is really nice to keep the knife clean in less than perfect conditions.

They are aftermarket that the dealer threw in when I bought my 635F. I'll see if I can find a name and edit this post. I believe they are manufactured in near Devils Lake ND.

Is that the TLA terminal in your avatar?

Company named Lankota out of Huron, SD. Remove big poly snouts and insert these steel ones. Used them in wheat too last fall.
