I'm looking at replaceing my 77 M2 with a 9450 walker combine and my crops are corn 220 bu, barley 100 bu, and wheat 80 bu. What size headers would this combine handle? The machine I'm looking at through my dealer has the cleaning shoe wearing through the sides of the combine and I'm wondering what has gone wrong here? The owner also said that he burned up two variable speed drive belts for the cylinder. What should I be checking into here? Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: JD 9450 cleaning shoe is wearing through the s

I would be checking into another machine. I know of things that can cause the shoe to wear through and belts to fry and you dont want to have someone elses problems starting out.
