Thinking of buying a 635f head for my 9770. What kind of ground speed would I be looking at in 45 to 55bpa soybeans.

air reel or not? tall beans or not? think you can go 4mph as long as you have good knives and guards.
the header is usually the limiting factor its not the combine itself in beans I found, we usually drive 3.5 to 3.9 but we have lots of drainage ditches.

No air reel. Bean height is all of the above. I have a 625f on it right now have to run 5.5 to 6.5 to keep enough going into it.

Most likely 3.5-4 with ease. We ran a 635F and had no problem on our 9750
