Now im in Australia, i dont get to see whats what with the farm my dad works on, so my brother took some photographs of the new combine they had this season, The John deere 9780i CTS with Hillmaster II and Autotrac

1 (The tractor and trailer are a John Deere 7810 and a Bailey 16 tonner)

Very nice pictures! Looks good! How much was it yielding?

I really like the CTS, even though its such a misunderstood combine

yields were between 3.5 and 4 tonnes to the acre, the yields have slowly increased since they started mintill

Deere probably could've really had something if they would've put a little more creative juices into the CTS, adapting it to the huge corn and soybean segment of the market. However, capturing CaseIH market share was priority and a much easier task requiring less creativity and no originality.

On a harvesting note, all of the end rows are now off to let a few days of dry air to pass through the rows for quicker drying and we'll be running 110%, probably on Tuesday morning. The addition of a new 1325-22D J&M tracked cart is sure gonna make things a whole lot more convenient.
