He is smart to unhook the head and pull the combine out, then get the head out after.
There was another make of combine that got stuck north of York, Ne. and just a few miles from were i work at Osceola, NE along Hi way 81 They were told by there dealer to take the head off or the combine could be damaged, the CAT dealer took a CAT excavator to get it out and then the head.

I asked sometime ago how any rotary machines could be sold in Europe as I have observed the severe feedrate reduction due to green and/or tough straw. And you have far more straw than most of North America.
Pretty well tells the story when you suggest a 400 hp machine will outperform a 530 hp machine.
I think you mean the ultimate "John Deere" solution, I imagine a 600 would run circles around a T 670,
both in through put and losses.
Yes Don,you are right,the Claas Lexion 600 is far ahead for capacity,even in tough conditions.I dont understand the Deere guys-if they would take the CTS concept and adapt this system to the wide feederhouse,the threshing cylinder and the bigger cleaning shoe of the 6 walker combines,including a 550hp engine,i would say that this combine could come close to a 600 for capacity,but mother Deere does not allow the R&D guys here in zweibrücken to built a prototype like this...
