Yep, all you need is one timely rain event.
True Auscocky, but if you don`t get it, the farm is on the market at a cut rate price!
Big Gamble.
IMO farm machinery, labour, fuel and chemical costs will break you before you get that timely rainfall. The price of grain would have to lift permanently to make that marginal land profitable. The gross margin per acre must be incredibly low.
These type of guys are gamblers. They are in it for the glory. They keep on rolling the dice hoping for that big win. Sooner or later they loose the lot. The higher you fly, the harder you fall.
