I recently purchased a 76 K and I would like to get the tach up and running, the wires in the control panel have been removed by the rats, but most of the exterior wires are still there. The wire going to the engine is there, but I can't find where it picks up on the engine, is it alternator pick up, coil pick up, or is there a magnetic pick up like the other three? Does anyone have a diagram the shows the different signal positions on the selector switch? It's a pretty good old barn kept machine with only 1450 hrs. Also can anyone show a pic of the trap door latch? I seem to be missing parts down there.
