When I pull back on hydro lever going down hill combine doesn't slow down, then it will seem to catch up and slow combine down. It acts like it is sort of free wheeling going downhill and when it levels out it will catch up and start going again. When it does catch up after going down a hill it hits with quite a shock. Any ideas what is going wrong?

Have you checked hydro drive belt tension. Loose belt can cause those symptoms.

mine does same thing they tell me it is wore out I wounder if it is a sticky shuttle valve in the hydro but have not done anything yet
