I have a 1982 L2 hydro s/n 24430 with the 670T engine. There is a 1978 L2 hydro s/n 16433 with the 3500 engine coming up for auction with half the hours - 2078 eng./ 1881 sep.I understand s/n 19501 is the break between the short and long shoe. How much difference is there in capacity between the two? Also what is the difference between the 670T and the 3500 engine?

Thanks, Terry

fish1,

We've ran a 81 L2 with long shoe and 78 L2 with the short shoe for years. In our dryland crops we don't notice a huge difference, but I do agree with mwhacker88 I believe you'll find the longer shoe to do a little better job overall.
