I have a L3 and added the auto reel speed to it and it worked great for soybeans and would like to try it on the corn head I have an orange frame 830 head and need to know what kind of pickup wheel I need and what shaft to install it on my head book is to old and does not even mention it the agco site I cant find anything but for an N or R and it doesn't say size or number of teeth do they mount on the shaft that connects to the combine or the one that connects to the gear box

You know, that is a nice feature on the reel because it helps save beans and keeps the reel in time with ground speed. For the corn head ?? all it does is wear out your variable speed sheaves....in and out and in and out.....suit yourself.
