Well i just bought a trimble 250 today and was thinking.. since its a easy to move unit compared to my raven RG5 light bar.

Who here has put one in the combine and did you leave it in?

2588 with 36ft draper is what i'll be useing this comeing fall.

We have moved both the lightbar and ez-steer from tractor to combine for the last couple years. The light bar didn't stick to the curved window as well as we hoped, but it will stay the better part of a day with no attention. It really depends on how comfortable you are with the system being there.

We've been running our Outback in the combine since '03 because it supplies the GPS signal to our yield monitor. I like it for cutting beans but my brother doesn't, I think the difference is I spray about 5,000 acres a year with it so I'm alot more used to using it than he is. For the past two years I mounted our's right to the front of the steering wheel pedistal with a U bolt and it works really good mounted like this.
