Looking for info from those who have ran them. Got a new to us 9660 bullet rotor this fall, have round bar and large wire concaves. Will need to get small wires before wheat harvest. Have a chance to get some regular used ones fairly cheap. Wondering if the Helicals are worth the money. Do you run just one in front? Wheat is our main crop, so want to do best job possible. TIA.

Also, came across concave shock kits on their web site. Any experience with these?

I have a Loewen Low Wire, Narrow Spaced Concave in the front position with Deere small wire concaves in the middle and rear. I
usually cover the middle concave in wheat.

Depending on the wheat variety and moisture content, I have the
concaves anywhere from 15 to 23, rotor from 800 to 1000. One thing I will say is I have to be careful not to crack the wheat. The
Loewen is made from the same grade of steel Deere use in their
high wear concaves and are very sharp.

If you run a lot of wheat get the PF Parts extra narrow wire concave for the front position along with the PF elements and white cap bar. Change the precleaner to an adjustable one. You won't be sorry with these mods.
