Throwing this out there,anyone know where a person can find parts for a standard transmission for this old school tractor?Need a gear.Checked with versatile in Winnepeg and was told no longer made.Any junked tractors out there?any help appreciated.Thanks.

Talked to Harry, the Versatile guru in Kansas, no parts, what is damaged on gear, there is a company in Grand Fork that could possibly make one, wouldn't be cheap, Scott.

Not sure where you are, but the Gear Center in Edmonton might be able to help. They made us up a gear that was no longer available through New Holland. Not cheap but probably not much more than the dealer.

I forget the name of the company but there is a machine shop in Plum Coulee Mb that made a set of planetary gears for us. Have lasted many years. I don't think anyone in Winnipeg builds gears. Might be Giesbrecht Machine shop. Could always call and find out.

As you can see at the left I certainly agree with you.

This is a case however where the search may have to cover a huge area.
