hi guys we are looking for a tractor for the chaser bin and we are left down to 2 mf7475 04 with 5400 hours and a nh tg 285 04 with 5600 hours and I would like to know the pros and cons thanks guys

an 04 7475 would be a little over half the power of the Tg285. You're comparing apples to oranges.

TG285 is much bigger. Not sure why you would want to steer clear of one. CAPS pump is an issue, but MF's are not known to be the worlds most reliable tractor either.

There is nothing wrong with a TG285, as long as you don't stall it going up hill for you will never stop it unless you hit the hand brake button real quick.

Well the CVT and Sisu will be efficient, reliable and nice to operate in the 8480 but the Cab will be nicer on the TG285.

Both will have their glitches but the 8480 will likely be more efficient.
