Run a 1480 now. We normally have all cotton and now it is all grain and no cotton. Normally have 95K acres in county now it is 12k with 6k expected next yr.

Anyway wanting to trade 1480 for a 2388. Which year model would you look at or stay away from. Been looking at 02-05s with about 1000 sep hours. Want duals,tracker,afx rotor. Would love to have a 2588, but that might be out of reach.

WEll id have to say 03....thats the year the afx rotor was put in and other lil canges...make sure the serperator belt engagement has been updated...

from 03-05 we broke more than our fair share of those belts till they made some changes...

overall there all alike....nothing overly great... 2588 seems to have a stronger hydro and unloads a lil faster... not sure if it says that on the data sheet but it feels like it when your driveing them.
