M150 float cylinders will not move

1705 Views 7 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  SouthernSK
We are having problems getting the float cylinders to move on a M150 swather. They are all the way extended. When we push the float buttons in the cab the engine lugs and the main lift cylinders move a little bit. The float cylinders do not move at all. Does anyone have a suggestion on what is wrong? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks SouthernSK

Thanks for the info Don. I have tried it both with the header up and down and still can not get the cylinders to retract.
This unit is new to us. The springs are stretching. I am wondering if there is something wrong with the solenoid valves that control this?
Good point. The pins are in the working position for the main arms so the spring stretch when it is lowered. I assume there are no lock pins on the float cylinders.
