Neighbor loaned us his Magnum 290 the other day. Pulled it off the lowboy and it sets a code for low oil temp and sure enough its reading zero. I'm guessing the sensor or harness? At any rate I don't run red equipment and the local dealer employs 4th graders and nail salon school dropouts, so does anyone know where it is? There is a sensor low on the RH side of the transmission that looks like it could be one. I plugged and unplugged it and nothing seemed to change. Any ideas on what or where would be appreciated.

The sensor is on the lower right side two wire connector behind the hydraulic pump pickup ahead of the rear wheel I attached a picture. If you disconnect the connector and ohm the sensor at 77 degrees fahrenheit the ohms should be between 460 and 540, if they are close I would not worry about it only if it is way out. If the sensor is good there is likely a wiring issue if so let me know and I will try to help.
