I'm considering renting or leasing a RowTrac for this planting season for a 1st pass tillage on Mississippi River fields that have been flooded for months....usually after these "major" floods there is 2" to 12" of wet sediment deposits or worse. long fingers of sand 3 to 5 feet high stretching out for 30 - 100 yards into the fields. RowTrac might let me "tiptoe" across semi- wet sediment /sand with a small cultivator to air out the soil and increase the drying process.....Will Rowtrac leave less of a scuff- mark when turning ? Would it be better than a tracked challenger ? My big tire CIH Steigers aren't "tiptoe" friendly.
