can anyone help me lower the cutting height on my 220xl? Not sure if there is something I'm missing, I've tried changing the angle adjust bolt on the top and it seems to help a bit but not much. I've tried loosening the springs but that doesn't seem to help either. The header comes down to about 10 inches off the ground and thats it. The cylinder is all the way out and goes into the float stage. If two guys stand on the head it will go down more so it's not like it's hitting anything, just seems to float there. Are the springs too tight? Have them set the way the manual says to. I need to get lower for the barley because it's pretty short and if it keeps raining , gonna get lower!

My 220XL, 30 foot, angle set at 11. Just before cylinders go into float the guard points are 4 inches above ground. Had to remove the skid plates. I'm guessing it is spring tension if people standing on it lowers it. When they step off does it go back up?

It stays down but if you put it up then down again, it stays at the higher height. I'm thinking it's the springs too tight too. Thanks.
