Hello all, I recently purchased a Massey 750 with a straight 13' cut grain head. What are my header options for mechanically driven flex heads and corn heads? It is a red cab but newer model with hydrostatic drive with automatic height control and I believe hydraulic control for the reel height only. Thanks!

Your options are severely limited by the top drive system on the combine. Very difficult to put anything but the "OEM" heads on that combine. I've known a few people put JD heads on them, but it involved either gears and chains or long angled driveshafts. Sorry, IDK the Massey head numbers for you

thanks, I see a few heads at dealers, but all at least 6hrs away from me. I think the 9115, 9118 etc series will work, but I can tell as soon as I see them.

I have never seen one with that small a straight head.
All the ones here that size were with pickup.

the old 750 ran the 1859 header. The 9100 series will fit but you'll need a hydraulic pump to power the reel drive.

Whereabouts are you? A neighbour might still have a Massey 18 ft(?) flex header he ran on an 860.

If you use a header that was on a 760/860 you may have to add filler plates at the feeder house opening. You will be able to take them off of your current header and move them if you need them.
