Mainly gonna use r new fd75's with cross augers straight cut canola in mid Oct....BUT we own one maxflow Claas draper, will this header work in canola? Are there any mod's or free advice or past experiences to shed light with me...I hear compression auger will do a satisfactory job...?

Not that I have one but the cross auger on my draper front really doesn't do a lot until the canola gets within 2 metres of the centre so you would think the Maxflow feed augers should work well and the centre feed drum should be certainly aggressive enough to pull the crop in without any problems. Certainly looks like you maybe the guinea pig on this one, let us know how you go.

We strait cut canola with a max flow 1200 and it worked fine. We went to 2 maxflex's for all around cutting and didn't even hook up to the vario this year.
