We have had the shoe shaker shaft break in half last year, and we have had the shoe pitman driveshaft bearing break off the RH side of the frame this year. As well, we are missing some slats on our top sieve.
It does not seem like there is excess vibration or anything like that.
I was wondering if anyone knew what might be causing these problems? Thanks

Check your shaker pan, if there is build up.. They are connected.

It is also know they have this style of issue

9000 series yes, not 9005's especially 9895's, they are much heavier in this area. The 9000's i have seen with shaker/sieve issues are always high hour, run hard machines.

the bearing breaking off the RH side is common, should have been an update done.. with some reinforcing done, according to my dealer.

My 2007, 9895 had it break 2 harvests ago.. when it let go, it cracked the cast pitman. we didn't see the crack, so the next day we had to take it apart again and replace it..

we put new bearings in the right side.. a couple were running dry when we checked them after replacing them.
