Hello, I'm a long time lurker that has learned a lot from the site. I've enjoyed the pics other have posted and will attemp to post some pics of wheat being harvested in MS. The yields have been good for MS, especially for our wet spring. An older variety has averaged in the low 60s and with better varieties 80+ bu/ac.

The combine is a new machine to my partner but still is a couple years old. He has had it for just over a week and this is his first harvest with it. He traded in an older 2388 for this one. It has performed good so far. He will have auto steer added this week to it. Scott Baker

Why not a 2020?

The machine came with a draper header but the dealer has not delivered it. So, instead of waiting and taking a chance on weather, the header from the old combine was used to get the job done.

Hi there. As you may see Im from across the river in LA. I spy a Rice Special on that combine. Any rice in that area? I come from an area dominated by rice. That is a nice combine. My cousin ran a 2388 for many years. He bought it brand new when they had first came out. Those are some loud machines.

There is rice in the area, but not the acres LA and AR grows. In our area this more corn and soybeans with some rice. This machine will probably will never see rice. The owner doesn't grow any rice.

Are you from south LA? LA has some fine food!
