I have officially decided to switch to Corn Silage and will be feeding out of a pile anyone have any suggestions on MIXER WAGON brands. I am leaning towards a Kuhn or Luck Now as I have a dealer very close

I've never really heard any big problems with any brands of wagons. We have a farm aid and it's been relatively trouble free except for a couple load cells and normally wear items.

Have an NDE 1002 and its been trouble free. Don't know who my dealer is as I order parts right from the factory. Needed to do the pins bushings on the walking beams and the parts were on backorder for a couple weeks and they just sent me the engineered drawings to get me going. Haven't come across another mfg. that is as helpful. Only other work it's needed is knives and cross conveyor chain.

I would be considering style more than manufacturer: vertical auger, horizontal, reel? We tub grind hay and add silage, so horizontal has worked well for us, will be trying a larger used reel style later this year. If you would be adding hay with no other processing, a vertical mixer may be the best bet

Buy what is close. Last 2 have been penta ran lots of patz before. What you intend on feeding determines what you want. Also what you want to load with some are higher than others.
