The moisture Temp. sensor on 2388 is not reading correctly some times it is reading much to high and is causing a fault.
Has anyone had this problem ? Do I have to renew the whole moisture sensor ? Thanks

What crop are you in and do you have the moisture sensor still in the inclined auger trough? If sensor is still located in the trough it is not uncommon to have a green stem catch on the fin and cause a very high moisture reading.

Is it an AFS monitor or Ag Leader or other, if AFS do you have a book for it? Or you should be able to get a manual thru your dealer that will tell you how to check the sensor. Thing I run in to the most is the temperature is not set right. Should show near outside temperature. Just some ideas

I have found the fault - Moisture had got into the plug of the monitor cable up above the RH wheel, I will tape the plug up with self amalgamating tape to stop any further water getting in.
Thanks for help, it is an AFS monitor

We seem to have that problem on a regular basis, so we keep a can of compressed air in the buddy seat and if it seems the least bit moist outside, we blow it out.
