heard from the AZ meeting more changes coming to the 8010. Is CaseIH going to update the old ones or just the new? sounds like they are changing the pinch point and vanes, to more like a 2388. anyone heard the straight stuff yet?

There is a few simple and inexpensive things that I would like to see done. I would like to see a decent light in the hopper. In our part of the world we actually do combine in the dark! I have a 36' Macdon flexheader. The only time I can see the ground clearly at the ends of the header is when I turn the signal lights on and combine that way. That is the only way the side lights come on other than raising the header when your turning at the headland. We had a very wet fall and this was the only way I could see I was getting close to water.

from what I was told the pinch point change is suppose to help the feeder chain and feeding problems in small grain.

also there changing the chute opening for windrowing straw .. making it 4 inches wider

How about them changing it so that all that junk doesn't build up in the back end where you open the ladder

ive heard from everyone in some part of the combine i think where the ladder is junk gets built up pretty badly

who knows....theyve had the problem of buildup on the back axle from the 14-23 series and they can't seem to figure out how to stop that....

But we can have a combine that steer's itself
